Entering the final round two strokes off the lead and turning to the back nine three shots back of the leaders, Joey Holley of Troy and Stan Sherlin of Montgomery fired a back-nine six-under par 30 to win the Alabama State Senior Four-Ball Championship title for the second time. Sherlin holed a five-foot birdie on the difficult 430-yard Par 4 18th hole that would prove to be the championship winning putt. Holley and Sherlin won the title in 2012 at Vestavia Country Club.

Playing behind Holley and Sherlin in the final group was Steve Hudson and Claud Cooper of Birmingham. Standing in the 18th fairway, Hudson and Cooper realized a birdie was needed to force a playoff. Cooper hit his approach to five feet but his birdie putt just slipped by the edge of the hole sealing the win for Holley and Sherlin.

Round two co-leaders Robert Nelson of Fairhope and Walker Grant of Montgomery carded a final round 68 to finish in third place at 199 (-17).

In the Super Senior Division, Tommy Williams of Dothan and Lamar Hart of Dothan posted a final round 67 to give them a six-stroke victory over John Gibbs and John Daniel of Oneonta.
