Tulane Teammates Qualify for U.S. Women’s Four-Ball at Maridoe Golf Club

HUNTSVILLE, AL (October 8, 2020) – Final results from the U.S. Women’s Four-Ball Championship sectional qualifying hosted by Huntsville Country Club in Huntsville, AL on Thursday, October 8, 2020 (5956 yards, par 36-35—71, Course Rating: 73.9/126).

Within a field comprised of 8 sides, one qualifying spot and two alternate positions were available at this qualifying site.

Jennifer Rosenberg of Laurel Hollow, NY and Carlota Palacios of Vitoria, Spain posted a seven-under 64 to punch their ticket to the 6th U.S. Women’s Four-Ball Championship. In April of 2021, this team will compete at Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton, TX.

“We are super happy,” Rosenberg said. “Today, we complimented each other really well.”

Enduring a slower season, due to COVID-19, this duo is thankful for the chance to compete.

“We’re looking forward to the competition,” Palacios said. “We love the challenge, and we are ready to play alongside amazing golfers.”

Emerson Blair of West Point, MS and Anna Heck of Memphis, TN carded three-under 68 to stand 1st Alternate.

Also shooting three-under 68, Martha Leach of Hebron, KY and Patricia Ehrhart of Birmingham, AL stand 2nd Alternate.

This qualifier was conducted by the Alabama Golf Association on behalf of the United States Golf Association.
