Ladies Spring Two-Person Scramble Opens the 2021 AGA Season

BIRMINGHAM, AL (March 24, 2020) – Final results from the Ladies Spring Two-Person Scramble hosted by RTJ Ross Bridge in Birmingham, AL on Wednesday, March 24, 2020 (5312 yards, par 36-36—72, Course Rating: 70.5/126).

The inaugural playing of the Ladies Spring Two-Person Scramble was marked by Tami Green and Ann Lanier of Fairhope, AL winning the gross first flight. Their dynamic team opened the 2021 AGA Season with a seven-under 65. 

Nancy Gavin of McCalla, AL and Lea Green of Jacksons Gap, AL placed second in flight one with six-under 66.

Claiming first in the gross second flight are Avonne Shelton and Weety Vickery of Decatur, AL, posting six-over 78.

This one-day event was conducted at 18 holes of scramble stroke play, featuring 26 sides. All sides competed within the Amateur Division.

Entries were open to sides of female amateur golfers who have an active GHIN USGA Handicap Index.  Only one player must have an active GHIN USGA Handicap Index.

This Scramble was conducted by the Alabama Golf Association.
