BIRMINGHAM, AL (March 27, 2021) – Final results of the Alabama Partner’s Kickoff Scramble hosted by RTJ Oxmoor Valley in Birmingham, AL on Saturday, March 27, 2021 (par 36-36—72).

It was on the RTJ Oxmoor Valley Course where Eric Shugart of Owens Cross Roads, AL and Tom Jungkind of Hoover, AL won flight one of the Alabama Partner’s Kickoff Scramble Male Division. Finishing a final-round 12-under 60, with an eagle on Hole No. 18 to close the day. Overall, they carded an impressive 23-under 121.
 
Craig Melton and Matt Barnes of Hoover, AL finished second, carding three eagles for the day to climb the leaderboard. Two-strokes behind Shugart and Jungkind, they fired a 13-under 59. Altogether, they posted a 21-under 123.
 
Bart Pettus of Chelsea, AL and John Michael of Huntsville, AL posted a five-under 67 to win flight two. For both rounds, the side posted 12-under 132.

In second, Jeremy Helms and Trey Hall of Hoover, AL carded three-under 69 for the day and nine-under 135 for both rounds.
 
Dina Murray and Theresa Stratton of Opelika, AL finished even-par 72. They closed two-under 142.
 
“It was a wonderful inaugural event,” Murray said. “We’re looking forward to playing again next year!”
 
Suzi Stanley of Santa Rosa Beach, FL and Jason Leblanc of Athens, AL won the Mixed Team Division in a scorecard playoff, carding a nine-under 63. They carded an impressive 14-under 130 overall.
 
This two-day event is conducted at 36 holes of scramble stroke play. Entries are open to any side comprised of the following, regardless of age: male/male, male/female, female/female. One member of each side must be at least 16 years of age.
 
This event is conducted by the Alabama Golf Association.
