Champions Crowned at the 16th Alabama Women’s State Four Ball and 5th Alabama Women’s State Senior Four-Ball Championships

POINT CLEAR, AL (July 27, 2023) – Final Round results from the Alabama Golf Association’s 16th Alabama Women’s State Four Ball Championship and the 5th Alabama Women’s State Senior Four-Ball Championship.

Adalyn Pike of Athens and Chloe Ruble of Athens secured their victory as the 16th Alabama Women’s State Four Ball Champions with a total score of 14-under par, 130. The group finished the second round with a score of 10-under, 62. Their round consisted of one eagle and nine birdies.
 
Finishing three strokes back were Round One leaders Addison Spears and Ashlynd Madden. The duo finished the week with a total score of 133, 11-under par.
 
Hannah Dees of Fairhope and Tori Roush of Fairhope posted a score of 10-under par, 134 for the week. The team finished with a six-under par, 66 score for the Final Round.
 
For the 5th Alabama Women’s State Senior Four-Ball Championship, Lea Green of McCalla and Linda Jeffery of Prattville were victorious. They finished the week 10-under par, 134, one stroke above the competition. Today, the group finished four-under par, 68.
 
Ann Lanier of Fairhope, Lakewood Women’s club champion, and Chris Spivey of Pell City earned second place with a total score of nine-under par, 135.
 
After a scorecard playoff, Donna Lowen of Huntsville and Sha Carter of Gulf Shores took home the bronze medal with a total score of six-under par, 138.
 
In Senior Flight One, Lisa Horsley of Fairhope and Lori Holibaugh of Foley finished in first place with a total score of three-over par, 147.
 
Laurie Strite of Foley and Lisa Graham of Orange Beach earned first place in Senior Flight Two with a total score of 15-over par, 159.
 
For Senior Flight Three, Mary Kay Webb of Fairhope and MJ Stickler-Scott of Fairhope finished in first place with a total score of 19-over par, 163.
 
Connie Brady of Mobile and Lynn Phillips of Mobile finished at the top of the leaderboard for Senior Flight Four with a total score of 30-over, 174.

About the Alabama Golf Association (AGA)
