MONTGOMERY, AL (June 23, 2022) - Final Round results of the 32nd Alabama Women’s Stroke Play Championship and 49th Alabama Women’s State Senior Amateur Championship hosted by Wynlakes Golf & Country Club in Montgomery, AL on Thursday, June 23, 2022.

32nd Alabama Women’s Stroke Play Amateur Championship
 
Michaela Morard of Huntsville fired a two-under 70 for the day to earn the 32nd Alabama Women’s Stroke Play Amateur Championship title. The three-time Alabama Women’s Stroke Play Amateur Champion posted a four-under 212 overall, 12 strokes ahead of her competition.
 
Ashley-Sinclair Curtis of Enterprise posted an even-par 72 for the day to finish second, carding an eight-over 224 overall.
 
Emilia Smith of Enterprise carded a six-over 76 for the day to stand third. Smith carded an 11-over 227 overall.
 
49th Alabama Women’s State Senior Amateur Championship
 
Patricia Ehrhart of Birmingham shot a two-under 71 for the Final Round to secure the 49th Alabama Women’s State Senior Amateur Championship title. Ehrhart posted a four-under 212 overall.
 
Kathy Hartwiger of Birmingham stands second, carding a one-under 71 for the day. Hartwiger posted a two-over 218 overall. Susan West of Tuscaloosa posted an even-par 72 for the round to stand third, carding an 11-over 227 overall.
 
Lori Holibaugh of Foley posted a five-over 77 to lead Senior Flight 1 of the Tournament Division, carding a seven-over 151 overall. Toni Aila of Ozark posted a 12-over 84 for the day and 39-over 255 to lead Senior Flight 2. Candy Mitchell of Springville carded a nine-over 81 for the round and 42-over 258 to lead Senior Flight 3. Jana Hudson posted an 18-over 90 for the day and 60-over 276 to lead Senior Flight 4.
 
These Championships are conducted by the Alabama Golf Association.
 
About the Alabama Golf Association (AGA)
The Alabama Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization founded in 1915 whose mission is to serve and promote amateur golf in Alabama. AGA membership consists of over 115 member clubs represented by over 23,000 individuals. Since 1980, the AGA has managed the affairs of the Southern Golf Association which includes conducting the Southern Amateur Championship and Southern Junior Championship, in conjunction with the Board of Directors of the Southern Golf Association.
