BIRMINGHAM, AL (May 11, 2023) – Final results of the Alabama State Amateur Championship - Birmingham Qualifying hosted by Riverchase Country Club on Thursday, May 11, 2023
(6515 yards, par 72, Course/Slope Rating: 71.9/139).

Sixty-six players vied for 18 qualifying spots and ties at this qualifying site. Play began promptly at 8:30 a.m. 
Tanner Wilder of Pell City finished three-under 69 and received medalist honors.  
John Snoddy of Shoal Creek and James Mitchell of Birmingham carded two-under 70 to each stand T2.

The Alabama State Amateur Championship – Birmingham Qualifier is conducted by the Alabama Golf Association.    
About the Alabama Golf Association (AGA)  
The Alabama Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization founded in 1915 whose mission is to serve and promote amateur golf in Alabama. AGA membership consists of 120 member clubs represented by over 25,000 individuals. Since 1980, the AGA has managed the affairs of the Southern Golf Association which includes conducting the Southern Amateur Championship and Southern Junior Championship, in conjunction with the Board of Directors of the Southern Golf Association.
