Nick Davis & Katie Barnette

We are pleased to introduce you to our two Boatwright Interns for the 2016 season! 

Katie Barnette joined us in May and is originally from Belmont, North Carolina.  She has recently graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Telecommunications and Film.  The last two years spent at the University, she was the team’s mascot, Big Al.  Katie has played in countless junior and amateur events through Tarheel Youth Golf Association, Carolinas Golf Association, and the National Junior Golf Club.

Nick Davis joined the AGA in March and is from Springville, Alabama.  He started playing golf at the age of 14 and has competed in several AGA, Birmingham Golf Association, and Southeast Junior Golf Tour tournaments.  Nick was Second All-Team Conference his sophomore year at East Mississippi Community College prior to transferring to the University of Montevallo where he graduated in December 2015 with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing.

Both Katie and Nick will be with the AGA until the tournament season ends in October.  If you see them at our events, be sure to introduce yourself and welcome them to the Alabama Golf Association!
