SCOTTSBORO, AL (August 8, 2025) – Round of 16 and Quarterfinals results of the 25th Alabama State Match Play and 6th Alabama State Senior Match Play Championships held at Goose Pond Colony Resort in Scottsboro, AL, from August 6-9, 2026.

The 25th Alabama State Match Play and 6th Alabama State Senior Match Play Championships advanced to match play format as the top 16 players from each Championship battled this morning and afternoon.
Eight players in each Championship remained in the afternoon Quarterfinals. Four players in each Championship will advance to tomorrow’s Semifinals and Finals.

Additionally, the Alabama Golf Foundation supports the Youth on Course Alabama program providing facility access to junior golfers and provides funding for the Alabama Turfgrass Research Foundation. In 2016, the AGA earned the Gold Tee Award for “Outstanding Tournament Operations – Small Association” by the International Association of Golf Administrators (IAGA).
