BIRMINGHAM, AL (May 19, 2021) – Final results from U.S. Senior Open Championship Local Qualifying hosted by Wynlakes Golf & Country Club in Montgomery, AL on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 (6784 yards, par 36-36—72, Course/Slope Rating: 73.1/126).

Two qualifying spots and two alternate positions were available at this qualifying site.
Roger Rowland of Jacksonville, FL and Claud Cooper of Mountain Brook, AL, secured medalist honors and the top two qualifying spots by carding two-under 70.
After a two-way playoff at 71, Ted Tryba of Orlando, FL and Mauricio Molina of Argentina claimed first and second alternate positions. Tryba made par on No. 18 to stand first alternate.
The two qualifiers will advance to the 41st U.S. Senior Open hosted by Omaha Country Club, in Omaha, NE, on July 8-11, 2021.

Since 1980, the AGA has managed the affairs of the Southern Golf Association, which includes conducting the Southern Amateur Championship and Southern Junior Championship in conjunction with the Board of Directors of the Southern Golf Association.
