BIRMINGHAM, AL (July 7, 2022) – Match Play results of the 90th Alabama Women’s State
Amateur Championship and 4th Alabama Women’s State Senior Match Play Championship of the Alabama Golf Association hosted by Mountain Brook Club in Birmingham, Alabama on Thursday, July 7, 2022.
 
The 90th Alabama Women’s State Amateur Championship advanced to match play format as the top 16 players battled this morning in the Championship Division. Eight players remained in the afternoon Quarterfinals.

The No. 1 seed, Patricia Ehrhart of Birmingham, defeated the No. 16 seed, Lauren Gilchrist of Spanish Fort, 1 up.  
 
No. 8 seed Hannah Dees of Fairhope defeated No. 9 seed Linda Jeffery of Prattville 1 up.
 
Zoe Walker (No. 4 seed) of Vinemont defeated No. 13 seed Anna Christian Beeker of Tuscaloosa 3 & 2.

Tomorrow’s semifinals will see Ehrhart play Davidson and Curtis play Trible.
