Coshatt & Melnyk, Nelson & Grant Victorious at 4th Southeast Mid-Amateur Four-Ball Championship

ALEXANDER CITY, AL (Aug. 28, 2022) – Final Round results of the 4th Southeast Mid-Amateur Four-Ball Championship hosted by Willow Point Golf & Country Club in Alexander City, AL on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022 (Mid-Amateur Division: 7161 yards; Senior Division: 6709 yards; Par 36-36—72).

Leading wire-to-wire, Alan Coshatt of Birmingham, AL and Dalton Melnyk of Atlanta, GA were victorious, claiming the 4th Southeast Mid-Amateur Four-Ball Championship title.
 
Coshatt and Melnyk posted six-under 66 for the day. Altogether, they went 23-under 193 for the tournament. 
 
Brent Whitehead and Kirk Whitehead of Atlanta, GA made birdie on Hole #17 and eagle on #18 to finish one stroke behind, posting a low seven-under 65 for the day. They carded a 22-under 194 for the tournament.
 
Harlan Winn of Birmingham, AL and Thomas Iturbe of Nashville, AL claimed third, posting a nine-under 63 to close. They fired a 21-under 195 for the tournament. 
 
Robert Nelson of Fairhope, AL and Walker Grant of Alexander City, AL claimed the Senior Division title. They fired 11-under 61 to close; Nelson electrified the field with eight birdies and one eagle. Altogether, they went 20-under 196 for the tournament. 
 
Finishing second, Jeff Taylor and Shaw Pritchett of Montgomery, AL carded a four-under 68 for the day and 19-under 197 overall.
 
2021 Champions Kevin Jordan of Smyrna, GA, and Ray Harris of Leeds, AL, claimed third. They teamed to shoot six-under 66. They went 17-under 199 for the tournament.
