HUNTSVILLE, AL – (Oct. 14, 2022) Round One results of the 28th Alabama State Senior Four-Ball and 4th Alabama State Super-Senior Four-Ball Championships hosted by Valley Hill Country Club in Huntsville, Alabama, on Oct. 14, 2022.

The teams of Shaw Pritchett + Jeff Taylor of Montgomery and Chris Jones of Birmingham + Charles Noto of Pinson co-lead Round One of the 28th Alabama State Senior Four-Ball Championship, electrifying the field by firing an eight-under to open.
 
The teams of Mike Arasin + Dan Kuykendall of Auburn and Keith Crumpton of Trussville + Joseph Fortner of Birmingham both stand T3, carding a seven-under 65.
 
Bill Griffin of Dora + Robert Pewitt of Hoover lead Round One of the 4th Alabama State Super-Senior Four-Ball Championship, firing a six-under 66 for the day.
 
Standing T2, the teams of Tom Davis + Tom Jungkind of Hoover and Ron Jordan + Tony Wallace of Mobile posted a five-under 67.
 
Standing fourth are Terry Chapman of Monroeville + Steve Norman of Greenville. Chapman and Norman posted two-under 70 to open Round One. 
 
Round Two of the 28th Alabama State Senior Four-Ball and 4th Alabama State Super-Senior Four-Ball Championships will begin Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. off #1 and #10.

About the Alabama Golf Association (AGA)
