Chris Devlin of Hoover maintained the lead with a round two score five-under 66, widening the gap by eleven strokes. As Devlin finished his day on the course, he expressed his plan for the final round of the 28th Alabama State Senior Amateur Championship is to continue to play aggressively.
Chris Hummel of Birmingham and Rusty Clark of Double Springs are tied for second at 1-under 141, overall.
Matt Wilson of Jasper sits in fourth at even-par 142.
Mike Arasin of Auburn and Scott McDade of Fairhope finished the round tied for fifth at one-over.
The Senior cut line fell at 11-over 153 with forty-three players advancing to the final round.
After the second round at the 7th Alabama State Super-Senior Amateur Championship, three players sit tied for the lead at even-par 142, overall:

The State Super-Senior cut line fell at eleven-over 153 with twenty players advancing to the final round.
Round two of the 28th Alabama State Senior Amateur Championship & 7th Alabama State Super-Senior Amateur Championship will begin tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. off #1 and #10 tees.

About the Alabama Golf Association (AGA)
The Alabama Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization founded in 1915 whose mission is to serve and promote amateur golf in Alabama. AGA membership consists of 120 member clubs represented by over 30,000 individuals. In addition to competitions, the AGA administers the AGA Scholarship Fund through the Alabama Golf Foundation that is dedicated to assisting young golfers in higher education. Additionally, the Alabama Golf Foundation supports the Youth on Course Alabama program providing facility access to junior golfers and provides funding for the Alabama Turfgrass Research Foundation. In 2016, the AGA earned the Gold Tee Award for “Outstanding Tournament Operations – Small Association” by the International Association of Golf Administrators (IAGA).
Since 1980, the AGA has managed the affairs of the Southern Golf Association which includes conducting the historic Southern Amateur Championship and Southern Junior Championship, in conjunction with the Board of Directors of the Southern Golf Association.
